El Salvador Geisha
This natural anaerobic Geisha is grown according to 'El jardín de Variety pilot' where the coffee plant's characteristics are selected and cared for precisely based on data in the surrounding microclimate. To create a velvety mouthfeel, the coffee is gently fermented, so that notes of jasmine, nectarine and apricot come into character. The brothers Jorge, Alfredo and Víctor Menas' farm is located in a prime spot for high-quality coffee. At a consistent cultivation altitude of 1,450 meters with volcanic soil and proximity of less than 20km from the Pacific Ocean, a super stable microclimate is achieved without frost and overheating. Stability is precisely necessary if one wants a reasonable yield of the Geisha variety, which is notoriously difficult to work with if conditions are not optimal.
